Description
The game "Börse" (stock exchange) is an economic simulation for up to four players. The players will trade shares and try to get the highest profit.
An english player probably has to change the whole texts in die Basic program before you can enjoy the game.
After giving the number of players and their names (max 10 char per name) the turn-based game is started.
In every round the player can see the current stock prices
The player now can choose between the following tasks by using the up and down keys (ENTER will selecgt the option):
buy shares (Aktien kaufen)
To buy shares you first have to select the company and then the number of shares. The fees for buying shares always are 7,5% of the current share value.
By entering "*" as number of shares the maximum number of shares for the cash is calculated.
There is no chnace to get a credit, you only can invest your cash.
Now you can accept or cancel the trade.
If you accept the trade the new amount of shares in your portfolio is shown.
sell shares (Aktien verkaufen)
You first have to select the company and then the number of shares to sell. By entering as number of shares all shares in your portfolio (of the selected company) will be sold.
If you accept the trade the new amount of shares in your portfolio is shown.
inventory (Besitzübersicht)
The amount of shares per company (incl. the required share value to gain the invested money) and the remaining cash is shown.
next player (Nächster Spieler)
The next player will start his round.
After all player have ended their round an overview of the available cash for each player is displayed.
end the game (Spiel beenden)
When ending the game all shares from all players will be sold at the current shares value and an overview about the final cash amount will be shown.
Requirements
At least 8 KB RAM and the basic extension SW Basic V9
The basic sourcecode for PC-1350 and PC-1360 are identicle, the current pocket computer is detected at runtime. Only the WAV files are different because of the different representation of basic commands and line numbers.
